We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager with a strong proficiency in Excel, excellent communication skills, and effective administration capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the smooth administration of business development processes. Additionally, a willingness to travel when necessary is essential for this role

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base. Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create reports, and generate insights for informed decision-making. Develop and maintain comprehensive databases to track sales leads, client information, and market trends. Prepare and present data-driven reports to the management team.

Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and coordination in business development activities. Draft compelling proposals, presentations, and other communication materials for clients. Conduct engaging and persuasive sales pitches to potential clients.

Administration: Oversee the administrative aspects of business development, including documentation, contract management, and compliance. Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure efficient and organized workflow. Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements to optimize productivity.

Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify up selling opportunities. Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve products and services. Resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Travel: Willingly undertake travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities as required.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
