Job Responsibilities

As a Area Sales Manager specializing in medical products, equipment, and services, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by selling our company's healthcare solutions to its stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and positioning our products and services as valuable solutions and generate revenue.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling medical products, equipment, and services to hospitals, health systems, doctors' offices, and clinics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical device sales, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships within the healthcare industry

  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key decision- makers in hospitals, doctors , and distributors. Understand the unique requirements of each client and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's medical products, equipment, and services. Stay informed about industry advancements, regulations, and market trends.
  • Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct compelling and informative presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our products and services. Coordinate product demonstrations and trials as needed.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present comprehensive proposals, including pricing, terms, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with customer requirements.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to customer engagement. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Provide regular updates and reports on market conditions and emerging opportunities.
  • Customer Support and Post-Sale Relationship Management: Collaborate with customer support teams to ensure seamless post-sale support and customer satisfaction. Address any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Clinical Team Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless integration between sales efforts and the delivery of medical products, equipment, and services. Foster collaboration and open communication between the sales and clinical teams.


  • Experience of 5 years in sales and/or business management
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in working with and influencing other people
